This week..

I have a feeling Tessa will be walking shortly based on her desire to walk her "baby" in the stroller she received. She took a few steps without my assistance on the carpet pushing the stroller but is still hesitant to break away from us otherwise. She has stood up on her own twice, both times she looked at me in shock.

On her birthday she received a flower cake from her Granddad. She tried to eat it so taking a picture was tricky. It looked very similiar to an edible cake she had at the photographers the day before. The cake is a really cute idea and certainly last longer than a real cake does! It looks nice on our table and is a little reminder of her big day.

Tessa also had her year visit to the doctor and although she can't be turned around in the carseat because she is still under the required weight, the doctor feels she has caught up on all development! Yahoo.

It was 92 degrees today so we busted out the baby pool, the bikini (no diaper) and played for about an hour outside. She still loves the water...especially when we add bubbles to it! This bikini is fantastic - check out her lovely round belly. Perfect.
