Tessa's party was a lot of fun! She took a good nap that afternoon so she was well rested. And it gave Mom and I just enough time to decorate. She was a little overwhelmed at first but slowly got use to the amount of people. I was thinking to myself oh this is going to be too much for her but she was just fine. Certainly this is the largest crowd we have had at our house.
We started the day by opening two gifts in the morning - a huge play hut from Aunt Tracey and a huge monkey from my Mom. The play hut we thought would be a hit with the kids so we wanted to make sure we got that set up. The monkey was a huge hit for Tessa. Her unwrapping skills are pretty good as she is fond of ripping paper - remember her information from China had this listed as a activity she enjoyed - it is true. :) Apparently she is fond of eating paper too.
She received many fun gifts from family and friends....but alas as with most first birthday's the paper and ribbon were the most fun. I would imagine over the next fews days she will discover all the great gifts she received...

We sure had a fine time at Tessa's partay!! She was letting all the kids play with her toys no problem. She is just the cutest. I am in love!! Sorry Roc.
