Tub time

Tessa loves the water, no doubt about it and now she is getting brazen about putting her head under the spout while it is on. Full on, not a trickle. She submerges her entire body with only her head out and kicks like a wild women. Buckets of water on your head....but of course. Drinking soapy water...you got it. Baths are the highlight of my little fish's day. As soon as she hears the water running she takes off toward the bathroom and flings her leg up on the side of the tub. Clothes, who cares about those. If you take too long to get the temperature right, she stomps her foot in anticipation. Toys just get in the way of swimming. She wants the hair rinsing cup, the washcloth and her Daddy there to blow bubbles.

Complete bliss.

Ohmigosh, I just laughed out loud at her face! She really knows how to enjoy life, doesn't she? My son told me that he didn't take baths in China. I think he had a wash basin type of bath at his foster home and then a shower at the orphanage, so he loved baths too.
