Shadows and Bubbles

Just a few things that Tessa has discovered...

One would be our shadow as we are rocking to sleep. She saw us move which got her attention then decided to wave. Well of course 'the shadow' (that would be me) waves back. As long as it doesn't scare her we will continue with the waving until she can't lift her little head because she is so sleepy. Shadows, it is the little things we take for granted.

Bubbles, we have had them for a while but lately she has grown to love touching them. She tries to pick up the bubbles in the tub and put them in her cup. She has tasted them, she has taken them from my hand and stared at them up close. She chases them at The Little Gym. She also wants so desperately to be able to blow bubbles. I don't recommend this last piece, it is very messy. :)

Ah yes, and the stairs..those have been discovered too.

YOU ARE A PERFECT PERSON TO HAVE A BABY. You had to wait so long to get her. Just noticing what she is noticing and thinking about seems to really interest you. I am PROUD of you and your way of being an attentive parent amazes me. I love you.

Let her blow bubbles!!!! From a mommy point of view- it is messy but they love it! From the Speech Language Pathologist point of view- it is actually GREAT for their oral motor development!!!! ;)
